Hi, my name is Rob Hall and I launched R.G. Hall Test Prep with the vision of equipping all students to achieve their full potential on the ACT, SAT, & PSAT/NMSQT!
This business was a long time coming because it ties together many of the somewhat random aspects of my journey through life! Depending on if or where we have met along the way, one thing that you may or may not know about me is that I did pretty well on standardized tests in high school. As a junior at Olathe East High School in the Kansas City area back in 2003-04, I scored a 36 on the ACT, a 1540 on the SAT, and a 223 on the PSAT, which was good enough to qualify me as a National Merit Scholar and to receive a full scholarship to the University of Tulsa.
Normally, those scores aren’t something I advertise in my daily life (and I definitely believe there are many other qualities about a person that matter far more than high school test scores!), but that background does provide me with a unique platform to help students as they are preparing to take those tests themselves.
After graduating with a 3.95 GPA in Mechanical Engineering from TU, I chose to take a detour off of the engineering career path and spent nine years working for a collegiate ministry back at my alma mater. This was an incredible season in my life for which I am so grateful!
During those nine years, I developed so much in public speaking, small group leadership, and 1-on-1 mentoring skills, all of which directly apply to the unique way I have structured these test prep courses with a mix of individual attention in 1-on-1 tutoring sessions and engaging small-group classroom instruction!
The next stop in my journey was to go back to my engineering roots. I spent 3 ½ years at a Fortune 500 company in Tulsa as an Engineer/Project Manager. After much prayer and consideration, I decided to leave the corporate world and launch into this new adventure as an entrepreneur and small-business owner.
Now, I'm eager to serve you and your student and give them the most valuable ACT prep, SAT prep, and PSAT prep experience possible!
